π What I’ve learned in 3 months at Vorwerk International
1st of March marks my first 3 months as a Senior Manager User eXperience at Vorwerk International. I jumped into this new role for the company that has been delivering top-notch devices for more than 130 years, and in the last 60 years, the best-in-class kitchen robots and vacuum cleaners. In 3 months, I have started to figure out how to deliver successful experiences related to two of the key tasks for many of us: feed our beloved ones with delicious and healthy food and make the environment where we live healthy and clean.

π Leaving Avaloq
After three years, I decided to leave Avaloq. The most important lesson I learnt from this experience is, if you want to build trust among your co-workers and managers, you should start by demystifying the design process itself.

A few days ago I stumbled on a Luke Wroblewskiβs infographic (Fig 1.1) showing mobile phones usage evolution. The graph shows that the main device feature (voice calls) is almost unused. In fact, the title of his post was βWhen will we stop calling them phones?β
